Speech and Language Therapy
At Rivermont Schools, students benefit from speech and language therapy services provided by a team of certified Speech Language Pathologists. These professionals possess expertise in various speech and language disorders, offering tailored services to address individual communication challenges. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, therapy sessions are customized to meet each student's unique needs, utilizing research-backed intervention methods. Sessions may be conducted individually, in small groups, or integrated into the classroom, covering skills such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, oral language development, augmentative and alternative communication, and executive function skills.
