Plan Bee joined the Rivermont Schools network of schools in Fall 2026. Founded in 2015, Plan Bee Academy is a VAISEF-accredited special education school in Chesapeake, Virginia, serving students with autism spectrum disorder and related challenges with targeted academic and social-emotional support. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Plan Bee provides individualized academic instruction based on the Virginia Standards of Learning, alongside support for communication, social, behavioral, job readiness, and independent living skills. Plan Bee partners with families and school districts to develop individualized programs that build each student’s skills, independence, and confidence while preparing them for greater success at school, at home, and in the community.
