Meet Monica Wynn, a Mental Health Associate at Rivermont Schools, Northern Virginia (NOVA) campus. Although Mrs. Wynn has been with Rivermont Schools for a short time, she has already greatly impacted our students' lives. Here are some insights on what makes Rivermont Schools a special place.  

How long have you been at Rivermont NOVA?

I have been working at Rivermont Schools NOVA campus for about two and a half months now. I love how Rivermont loves their children and how they really care about the well-being and education of their students, which is extremely important to me in this field. I believe that all students can learn, just differently, and Rivermont goes out of their way to ensure that happens.  

What is your favorite celebration or fun activity at Rivermont NOVA?

We have an activity to cook with the students that I think is cool because they get to create their own recipes, and it is fun for them. Whatever is enjoyable to them is enjoyable to me.
