Rivermont Schools is excited to celebrate the opening of our new Danville campus with an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, August 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will take place at our new campus, located at 301 Lowes Drive, Danville, VA 24540. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.

Families, district partners, and community members are invited to tour the new campus, meet members of our team, and learn more about how Rivermont Schools supports students through individualized academic, behavioral, and therapeutic programming.

The new Danville campus includes expanded learning and support spaces, including classrooms, therapy rooms, a gymnasium, playground, cafeteria, library, life skills room, and sensory room.

“We are excited to welcome families, district partners, community members, and team members to celebrate this important milestone with us,” said Tia Hairston, Principal of Rivermont Schools Danville. “This new campus reflects our continued commitment to the Danville community, and we look forward to opening our doors, sharing the space, and celebrating what this means for our students, families, and team.”
